Sam Chopra, President Elect, NAR-INDIA
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the NAR-INDIA 8th Annual Convention, to be held at the Pullman New Delhi Aerocity and hosted by the Association of Property Professionals, Delhi NCR on August 13 & 14, 2016. With Indian real estate moving towards becoming more professional, it is time for organised players like us to bring in and promote business practices that will benefit us in the long-term. The 2-day Convention this year is being held with an objective of achieving a better perspective of the real estate industry and so help everyone grow in the coming good times. With delegates and experts from different parts of the globe and different segments of the industry and each one of them a veteran in their respective verticals, I am sure that the Convention will be a value addition to your knowledge and experience.
The National Association of Realtors-India has completed 8 years of its existence and it is a very important milestone in our journey as realtors. We have been successful in achieving our objective of elevating the standards of real estate brokerage services to a global level, where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail. The year 2016-17 has started on a very good note and we are hopeful that with so much being done by the Government at different levels, the year will bring cheer back to our sector.
With 28 Member Associations across the country, encompassing nearly 2000 Companies and a combined strength of 20,000 Brokers, NAR-IN has today emerged as the Voice of Realtors in India. Real Estate is an industry where ethical business practices and customer service are the building blocks and I am very proud to say that we have collectively been successful in changing the real state of real estate in India. With Indian Real Estate regaining its foothold both in domestic and international markets, I will look forward to seeing all of you at the Convention to make the best of this time!
Thanks and regards,
President Elect, NAR-India
